I refer to the practice of double shifts being undertaken by Western Australian nurses and midwives, and I ask:
(a) over the last month how many nurses undertook a double shift at tertiary hospitals in Western Australia; and
(b) over the last month how many midwives undertook a double shift at tertiary hospitals in Western Australia?

In the instance that a double shift is undertaken by a Western Australian nurse or midwife, an additional overtime payment is automatically rewarded to the employee. The following data is indicative of the month of September 2022.
