AGRICULTURAL SUPPLY CHAIN IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
798. Hon STEVE MARTIN to the Leader of the House representing
the Minister for Transport:
I refer to media statements from the minister on 3 May this
year announcing a $72 million investment on the agricultural supply chain
improvement program into the southern wheatbelt region.
(1) Has the study referred to by the minister in the funding
announcement commenced?
(2) Can the minister table the list of stakeholders who have
been consulted?
(3) Is the study being undertaken by the department or
external consultants?
(4) When will the study be completed?
Hon SUE ELLERY replied:
I thank the honourable member for some notice of the
question.
(1)–(4)
An economic and technical feasibility scope of work has been prepared. Work to
make contact with key stakeholders for consultation will commence shortly. The
study is expected to be completed by mid-2023.
