Question

For each of the financial years 2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22, I ask:
(a) how many residential rooftop solar systems have been installed each year in Western Australia; and
(b) what is the total amount of energy purchased each year through the renewable energy buyback scheme?

The tables below show:

1. The number of residential rooftop solar systems installed each financial year from 2016/17 to 2021/22 for each agency’s service area.

2. The total amount of energy purchased through the Renewable Energy Buyback Scheme (REBS) and the Distributed Energy Buyback Scheme (DEBS), which replaced the REBS from November 2020.
