GREEN
JOBS PLAN —APPOINTMENTS
1242. Hon TJORN SIBMA to the minister representing the
Minister for Environment:
I refer again to the government's
July 2020 green jobs plan to create 1 000 conservation jobs as part of the WA recovery
plan.
(1) After more than two years, how
many of these jobs have been filled?
(2) Of those filled, were the
appointments on a full-time, part-time or casual basis?
(3) Of those filled,
was the employing authority —
(a) the state
government;
(b) the federal
government;
(c) the
not-for-profit or community sector;
(d) an Aboriginal
body corporate; or
(e) the private
sector?
(4) How many of the 1 000 jobs are
currently occupied?
Hon SUE
ELLERY replied:
I
am providing this answer on behalf of the Minister for Emergency Services
representing the Minister for Environment, but, as Leader of the House,
can I say that is a lot of information requested in a four-hour turnaround
time.
(1)–(4) The
green jobs plan includes eight projects, delivered by four state government
entities. The Department of Water and Environmental Regulation is directly
delivering four of the projects.
