LOTTERYWEST GRANTS —
VICTORY LIFE CENTRE
1286. Hon PETER COLLIER to the Leader of the House
representing the Premier:
I refer the Leader of the House to
her response to question without notice 1158, asked on 22 October, and question
without notice 1263, asked on 11 November.
(1) Did any of
the organisations listed, as referred to in question 1263, have their grant
application rejected because of ''their attitude to gay and lesbian
issues and marriage equality'' or similar reasons, as with Margaret
Court Community Outreach?
(2) If yes to (1), which
organisation or organisations?
(3) Over the past three years, has any organisation
had their grant application approved despite their attitude to ''gay and
lesbian issues and on marriage equality'' being similar to Margaret
Court Community Outreach?
(4) If yes to (3), which organisations?
Hon SUE ELLERY replied:
I thank the Leader of the Opposition
for some notice of the question.
(1) I refer the
Leader of the Opposition to my answers to his question without notice 1263 on
Wednesday, 11 November 2020, and question without notice 1158 asked on
Thursday, 22 October 2020.

applicable.
(3) Lotterywest
takes a community development approach and there are often multiple reasons why
a grant is supported.
