FOREST MANAGEMENT PLAN — SURVEY
403. Hon TJORN SIBMA to the minister representing the
Minister for Environment:
I refer to the involvement of the Western
Australian Biodiversity Science Institute, WABSI, in conducting a public survey
on the next forest management plan.
(1) Did the
minister, including her office, approach WABSI to undertake this work, or did
WABSI lobby the minister and/or her office?
(2) On what dates and times did
these conversations occur?
(3) Will WABSI receive a fee for
undertaking the survey; and, if yes, what is that fee?
(4) Did the minister and/or her
office play any role in designing the content and structure of the survey?
(5) Will survey results be
published; and, if so, via what means?
Hon KYLE
McGINN replied:
