SINGLE-USE PLASTICS

Minister for Environment:
I refer to categories of single-use
plastic listed under stage 1 of the Plan for Plastics. Has the Department of
Water and Environmental Regulation received any direct or indirect representations
from suppliers concerning challenges meeting the stage 1 phase-out deadline for
any category of plastic?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
The
Department of Water and Environmental Regulation has received a range of
feedback on the planned phase-out from stakeholders, including
suppliers. This feedback will inform the final design of the regulations.
