What is the current number of police
officers who are non-operational due to workplace injury on —
(a) a permanent basis; and
(b) a temporary basis?

I thank the Leader of the Opposition
for some notice of the question. The following answer has been provided to me
by the Minister for Police.
It is not possible for the Western Australia
Police Force to confirm the number of officers who are non-operational as a result
of a workplace injury in the time frame given. Should the honourable member
require the information, it is recommended that he place the question on
notice.
