AQUACULTURE
LICENCES — ALBANY
610. Hon COLIN de GRUSSA to the parliamentary secretary
representing the Minister for Fisheries:
I refer to the government inviting
applications for aquaculture licences and leases within the Albany Aquaculture
Development Zone in the Oyster Harbour area.
(1) How many
applications were received and assessed by the Department of Primary Industries
and Regional Development?
(2) Have any licences or leases
been approved; and, if so, how many, and to whom?
(3) Were all applications assessed in full compliance
with Administrative guideline no. 1, 2017: Assessment of
applications for authorisations for aquaculture and pearling in coastal waters
of Western Australia?
(4) If no to (3),
why not?
