I refer to the investigation being
undertaken by the Ombudsman into delays by the Office of the Public Advocate in
notifying families about the death of a loved one.

thank the member for some notice of the question. I provide the following
answer on behalf of the Attorney General.
(1)–(2) The Attorney General referred the matter to the
Ombudsman on 2 March 2021. The timing of the investigation is a matter
for the Ombudsman.
