PLANNING — SIGNIFICANT DEVELOPMENTS —
REGIONAL AREAS
779. Hon DIANE EVERS to the minister representing the
Minister for Planning:
I refer to the debate on the Planning and Development
Amendment Bill during Committee of the Whole, Hansard page 3872, in which we were given the response
that the development assessment panels had determined that in 2019, 26 projects
in regional areas would meet the threshold of $5 million to be considered a significant
development.
(1) Will the minister please table a list of these projects
including —
(a) a brief description;
(b) the location; and
(c) the estimated cost and value?
(2) If not, why not?
Hon STEPHEN DAWSON
replied:
I thank the honourable member for some notice of the
question.
(1)–(2)
I note that this question was asked on 25
June 2020, so, obviously, the information was current at that date.
I seek leave to have the following
table incorporated in Hansard. It is indeed a list of 26 items with a brief
description. It lists the local government area and it has the estimated
cost/value of the property.
Leave granted.
