Answer

It is not possible to provide a breakdown of the FTE for school type.  The School Psychology Service delivery model is primarily based on school psychologists attached administratively to one school and providing support across a number of schools and potentially multiple school types.

(1)-(5)

In 2019, there were 325.82 school psychologist FTE providing direct support to schools and students.

In addition to the above, there were a further 29.9 psychologist FTE in 2019 employed by the Department in other services that provide indirect support to students in schools.

In 2020 there were 335.79 school psychologist FTE providing direct support to schools and students.

In addition to the above, there are a further 26.92 psychologist FTE in 2020 employed by the Department in other services that provide indirect support to students in schools.

It is not possible to provide the ratio of school psychologists for education support and remote community schools as the School Psychology Service delivery model is primarily based on school psychologists attached administratively to one school and providing support across a number of schools and potentially multiple school types.
