DAMPIER PENINSULA AND
BUCCANEER ARCHIPELAGO MARINE PARK

Minister for Environment:
I
refer to an ABC online news article of 24 June by Hannah Barry titled ''Dampier
Peninsula, Buccaneer Archipelago marine park plan attracts 17,000
submissions''.
(1) How many
submissions on the draft marine park plan were received from individuals or
groups domiciled outside Australia?
(2) Will those
submissions be set aside or will they be considered in the formulation of the
final draft marine park plan before it receives ministerial approval?
(3) How many
submissions on the draft marine park plan were received from Australian-based
individuals or groups domiciled outside Western Australia?
(4) Will those
submissions be set aside or will they be considered in the formulation of the
final draft marine park plan before it receives ministerial approval?
