Question
I refer to tutors providing tutoring on school grounds, and I ask:
(a) who is responsible for ensuring that the tutor has a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC);
(b) is the answer to (a) different if the tutoring is provided during or outside of school hours;
(c) since 2019, has the Department received any complaints about tutors being able to attend school without a valid WWCC; and
(d) what oversight is provided by the Department to ensure that all people working on a school site, such as tutors, have valid a WWCC?

(a)–(b), (d) The Department of Education records WWCC information centrally and at a local level as per the relevant policies and procedures.
