Access to parliamentary broadcasts
Parliamentary broadcasts are made available subject to certain conditions set down by the Presiding Officers. Rebroadcasting of program material, including extracts or excerpts, is permitted if it constitutes a fair and accurate report of the proceedings, and is not used for -
- political party advertising or election campaigns
- satire, ridicule or denigration; and
- commercial sponsorship or commercial advertising.
People wishing to rebroadcast any program material, including extracts or excerpts, should be aware that parliamentary privilege may not apply.
