You can also use the Australian Government’s National Relay Service (NRS) to contact us. The NRS is an Australia-wide phone service for people who are deaf or have a hearing or speech impairment.
Hours of operation
Opening hours vary due to the parliamentary sitting calendar. On sitting days the house is open from 8.00 am until the last house rises. On non-sitting days the house is open from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.
The committee offices are open from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.
Parliament and the committee offices are closed on weekends and public holidays.
Parliamentary Education Office
Parliament delivers a range of tours and educational programs, including public tours. The majority of tours are free.
