About Public tours
On the tour, you will learn about the functions, procedures and rich history of the Parliament of Western Australia.
The format of the tour will vary depending on whether Parliament is sitting at the time of the tour.
When Parliament is sitting, you will view Parliament at work from the public gallery of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly chambers.
Non-sitting day tour
When Parliament is not sitting, you will learn how the parliamentary process works from the floor of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly chambers.
The maximum number of people on a public tour is 25.
Following the tour, you may choose to watch the Legislative Council or the Legislative Assembly from the public galleries. Enter through either the Legislative Council or Legislative Assembly gallery doors.
Entrance to the galleries is by stairs. If you require lift access, please advise Reception Services at the main entrance.
