Terms of Reference:

It is a function of the Committee under its term of reference 2.3a to consider and report to the Council on the estimates of expenditure laid before the Council each year.

The Committee has adopted the following procedure for the examination of the annual estimates of expenditure laid before the Council:

hearings throughout the year (ongoing hearings); and

intensive hearings on one day after the budget papers are tabled in the House (annual hearings).

This inquiry page relates to the 2008/2009 annual hearings.
